Here is a cool library service that I just learned about... I believe this is active at both Ramsey and Hennepin Counties... To view the offered titles (there are many) click here It would be nice to try this out in the future if a title matches.
Ramsey County Library introduces an easy way to start your own book club. We provide the books and all the information needed to have a great book discussion; all you need to add are the readers.
Each Book Club in a Bag tote contains ten copies of the selected book and a notebook with discussion questions, information on the author and suggested additional reading. The bags are checked out for six weeks and can be requested for pickup at any of our seven libraries.

You know, I had heard of that before, and it does sound like a good idea! Once we get through our round of books, we should try this!
i second the emotion. one of the hardest parts is just getting my hands on the book without spending $$$ at Barnes and Noble. Plus, if lots of people use the library's service, they'll keep coming up with cool new programs.
